- Sports equipment check-in fees can be paid online up to 24 hours before departure. The terms for purchase and refund are the same as those for pre-checked baggage.
- Additional baggage fees may apply if the sports equipment exceeds the free baggage allowance.
Sample Fee Calculation
For bicycles (1 unit, 20 KG) subject to a sports equipment check-in fee:
In the case of a free baggage allowance of 15 KG,
a sports equipment check-in fee of KRW 20,000 and a fee for the extra 5 KG will be charged.
Bicycles


- To prevent damage to wheels, frames, and handles, remove pedals, fix handles in place, and pack in a hard case with cushioning material.
- One bicycle is considered as one piece of checked-in baggage.
- The standard checked-in baggage regulations apply.
Items Not Accepted
- We don‛t check in for transport motorized bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, and jet skis due to a risk of fire or explosion.

Skis/Snowboards


- Skis and snowboards must be securely packed in a bag designed for transport of skis and snowboards to prevent damage during transport.
- Fees apply to each bag of ski and snowboard equipment.
Surfboards


- One item is considered as one piece of checked-in baggage.
- A kayak and a pair of paddles make up one piece of checked-in baggage.
- For all flight classes, the total dimensional measurement (width + height + length) of sports equipment in a case checked in for transport must not exceed 292 CM.
Windsurf boards

- One item is considered as one piece of checked-in baggage.
- For all flight classes, the total dimensional measurement (width + height + length) of sports equipment in a case checked in for transport must not exceed 292 CM.
Freediving


- Long fins and monofins for freediving must be securely packed in a bag designed for transport of long fins and monofins to prevent damage during transport.
- Fees apply to each bag of freediving equipment.
- Freediving equipment that adds up to exceed 115 CM in dimensions (W x D x H) cannot be brought onto flights and must be checked in as sports equipment.
Scuba diving equipment

- Oxygen tanks must be completely empty and safely packed in an oxygen tank bag.
- The valve must be completely separated from the tank, the tank must be open to allow visual inspection of the inside, and it must be completely empty. Underwater lanterns (lights for underwater diving) cannot be transported as checked baggage, so they must be carried on board. They can be transported with the batteries removed or the bulb separated from the lantern so that they do not work during the flight. .
- A fee applies to each bag of scuba diving equipment including oxygen tanks.
