Let us introduce to you our new brand identity newly designed for our 10 year anniversary.
In celebration of its 10-year anniversary, Jeju Air’s new BI (Brand Identity) sought to express progressive and reliable images and to depict Jeju’s natural beauties to show our will to become Asia’s best LCC.
We put a flag on the “i” in the English logo to show our welcome to our customers,
And to show global leadership and representative aspects for our Jeju Air employees.
Also, we added blue to our original all-orange color scheme for variety to signify that we will expand out routes to all of Asia to provide diverse service to our customers.
Airplane's tail was designed to represent stone wind (waves) and the main isalnd and surrounding islands were depicted in new patterns.
In Jeju island, which is Korea’s representative volcanic island, there are many stones, so it is common to see field walls made of stones.
Also, Jeju is windy because it is surround by ocean on all sides, and strong waves are also common, which ended up becoming a motif for the new patterns.
They are used as one of the elements that represent Jeju.
